Our Story and Mission

Vardo Traveling Theatre was founded in 2010 by a passionate group of artists dedicated to bringing diverse stories to life. Our founding members, including visionary director Alex Rivera and playwright Jamie Chen, sought to create a platform that champions social justice and representation in theatre. Over the years, we have grown into a dynamic company known for our innovative productions and commitment to feminist and LGBTQ+ themes. Our mission is to engage communities through thought-provoking performances and educational programs, fostering a deeper understanding of contemporary issues.
